Since November 11, 1944, the Warwood Lions Club has been performing good deeds for the Warwood community and its residents. As a member of LIONS Clubs International we share the vision to be the leader in community and humanitarian service. Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities and to meet humanitarian needs. The clubs in 200 countries consisting of over 1.4 million members make Lions Clubs International the world's largest service club organization. The Warwood Club is proud to be an integral part of this world-wide institution. Our club has received numerous awards and been recognized often for dedicated participation in Lions events and for the extensive list of activities administered by its members. Following is a condensed list of events and activities:

  • Collect eyeglasses for reclamation & distribution
  • High School and Middle School scholarships
  • Financial contributions to individuals, families & organizations
  • Warwood Community Festival in Garden Park
  • LEO club (young Lions members) for Middle School students
  • Roadblock to collect for the Easter Seal Foundation
  • Christmas “Light-Up Warwood night” in Garden Park
  • Provide eyeglasses to needy individuals

Meeting agendas often include a speaker on topics of interest to the membership and entertainment such as, Halloween and Christmas parties.
